It's true that the Vichy regime was antisemitic and too often helped Germans in the deportation of Jews (17 July 1942, for instance, "rafle du Vel d'Hiv").
But in Salomon's case, her deportation happened 2 weeks after the Wehrmacht had occupied the Nice region, after Italy (which occupied this region from the 11 November 1942) had signed the armistice with the Allied (Cassibile armistice, 8 September 1943). And with the Wehrmacht came the Gestapo and the delation (an anonymous seems to have "informed" the Gestapo about her adress).
