Overleg:Vryburg

From the majority of maps i've seen it seems that the name of the town in Dutch is Vrijburg. 86.143.147.168 1 dec 2009 19:49 (CET)

You could try google-maps and find this town if you search "Vryburg", and a couple of Dutch streets if you search "Vrijburg". On the article about Afrikaans (also on wiki-english) you will find that the Dutch -ij is in Afrikaans mostly replaced by an -y. That's why I suppose that "Vryburg" is correct here, given that the taalunie, which wiki-dutch follows, does not give a different advice. Hettie 1 dec 2009 20:10 (CET)
